Baroda, 2024 – In a moment of pride and jubilation, the iconic United Way Garba Mahotsav of Baroda has danced its way into the record books by setting an astounding world record, recognized by the Global Book of Excellence, for the Longest Garba Ground and Circle, spanning a phenomenal 10 lakh square feet. This grand celebration of Garba has reached new heights, making history in its 35th consecutive year of unbroken cultural brilliance.

With 50,000 spirited dancers twirling to the beats of traditional Garba, the atmosphere was electric as Baroda’s biggest and most celebrated Garba festival came alive under the stars. This year’s celebration attracted not just Garba lovers but also dignitaries who lent their grace to the occasion, including Mrs. Pritiben Patel, Chairman of United Way of Baroda, alongside Mr. Hemanth Shah, Mr. Manish Bhai, Mr. Tarak Patel, and members of the royal family, Rajmata Shubhanginiraje and Maharani Radhikaraje Gaekwad from the grand Lakshmi Vilas Palace.

The night became even more magical when the legendary Atul Purohit took the stage.
