Mumbai, India – July 6, 2024 – Lion Dr. Raju V. Manwani, a distinguished leader and philanthropist, continues to make significant contributions to society through his various roles and initiatives. As the Chairman and Managing Director of Castles Group of Companies and Property Anthem India (Builders & Developers), Dr. Manwani has shown exceptional leadership and dedication to community upliftment.

Awarded an honorary doctorate, “Doctor of Letters,” by Invertis University, Bareilly, Dr. Manwani has made a remarkable impact both locally and internationally. Serving as the International Chairman of Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam, he oversees operations in 84 countries and 28 Indian states. His global leadership was further highlighted during his tenure as International Director of Lions International from 2013 to 2015.

Dr. Manwani has held numerous key positions within the Lions organization, including District Governor of 323.A3 and Multiple Council Chairman for MD 323. He played a crucial role in coordinating the Swachh Bharat – Clean India initiative and served as Vice Chairperson at the 98th Lions International Convention.

His contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Ambassador of Goodwill, the Pride of India, and multiple Diamond MJF Pins for introducing 1,210 members to Lions International. He was also honored with the “Super Brain & Super Personality of India” by Competition Success Review and the “Rajasthan Gaurav” award.

Beyond his work in Lionism, Dr. Manwani has made significant strides in various sectors. He has been the State Commander for the NCC, a National Scout, Vice President of the Tae-Kwon-Do Association of Maharashtra, and Director of the National Co-operative Housing Federation of India. His social service contributions have been recognized with the Bharat Ratan Shri Babasaheb Ambedkar Award for Excellence in Social Service and the International Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Manwani’s influence extends to the media industry, where he has produced nine TV serials and released the video song “Vijaye Bhava” dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His commitment to humanitarian causes is evident from his efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and as a co-organizer of the Sindhu Darshan Yatra to Leh Ladakh.

An avid blood donor, Dr. Manwani has donated blood 179 times, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service. Supported by his family, including his spouse MJF Lion Nimmi Manwani and daughters MJF Lion Disha and MJF Lion Esha, Dr. Manwani’s legacy of leadership and philanthropy continues to inspire and uplift communities across the globe.
